Mama's Birthday Tales

I know I have been a little out of touch with all my friends. I am very sorry. Mommy said it is not good to spend too much time on the lap top, but she is on it all the time, so I’m not sure where that rule comes from. I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you all about what has been going on with me. I hear that a picture is worth 1,000 words, so I will include a lot of photos too.

After our trip back to the states, of which I was very good on all the flights, we went to Germany for a weekend. It was great fun traveling by car this time. I caught up on a lot of my sleep that way – good thing my mommies didn’t need me to help with the driving huh? We spent a nice weekend with some of my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Now I have met the whole Felch clan and can’t wait to meet some of my other relatives. Uncle John and Aunt Helen (from S.C.) came back with us to Switzerland. Where we spent 3 days walking all over the city, seeing all the sights! I enjoyed hanging out in the snuggly; sometimes Uncle John carried me too!

Now we are trying to settle into some sort of schedule here in Geneva. Mommy and I go to a baby group once a week; there I have quite a few friends my own age to play with. Here is a photo from last week. We lined up by age. I’m the oldest at 3 months and Devon is the youngest at 3 weeks. We are quite a multinational group too! (American, British, Swedish, Mexican, German, and French.)

Yesterday we spent the day making a special chocolate cake for Mama’s birthday. She was pleasantly surprised by the yummy cake from scratch no less!

I have found many new sounds I can make. I like it when the new sounds I make have my mommies laughing. I also really enjoy being a “mover and a shaker” I like to travel around in my bed and in my elephant lounge – which is what Mommies call the pack-n-play. Last night I decided I went to bed in the wrong direction, so when I woke up this morning, my feet where in the place my head was last night.

I hope you have enjoyed my tales – I will try to write again soon. My mommies say hello too! Love ~ Harper
