Halloween - part two

After the big party at Tumbles Gym, Nicholas and I went back to my house to join in the neighborhood parade. What a blast. First we met everyone just down the street a bit and then it was off in the big parade.
Along the parade route there were people giving out candy. Yum, Yum. What fun. After the parade we all enjoyed some pizza and fun together.
Then we did some door to door trick-or-treating in our neighborhood then over to Nicholas neighborhood. It was a wonderful day and I was pretty tired when I got home!

Halloween - part one

Wow -- the actual Halloween day was worth all the hype. I had a blast. First I had to get some errands run in the morning, so I would be ready for the big Halloween party at my gym. Here are lots of pictures from that party.

Leading up to Halloween

This Halloween thing is really fun and it seems to go on forever. I feel like I've been getting ready for the big day all month. Mommy and I made many cool projects this month. Here is a picture of our spooky house with my best drawing of a spider!

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Mommy found some cool costumes that I loved playing in ... but I decided to stick with my long anticipated Cinderella costume (You'll see the finished product on Halloween night).

Playing pin the nose on the pumpkin at one of the many Halloween parties I attended. I loved being the bell of the ball. And

Home Improvement

It seems as if the home improvement projects never end. Here I am helping Mama replace the toilet in my bathroom. It was a big job, but she was lucky to have me as her right hand gal. Next on our list is to install a closet just for me in my big girl room. Then my dresser will be used for the twins clothes.

Face Painting

I went to Sesame Place a few weeks ago and decided that I really wanted to get my face painted! Mommy told me how much it would cost and we went home and made a list of extra chores I could do to raise the money. After a few weeks, I've finally raised enough to go get it. Mama took me back to Sesame Place today to get my face painted. I sat very patiently in the big chair will the artist painted my face with the unicorn design I had my heart set on for weeks now. When she was all done I looked at my beautiful face in the mirror before counting out my money to pay.
I then spent the rest of the day playing at Sesame Place and came home exhausted and with most of the face painting rubbed off!

Pumpkin Patch

What a great day. We went to a farm, but you know what, I couldn't find any horses or cows any where! We took a hay ride out to a pumpkin patch, where I got to pick a whole bunch of pumpkins. I picked out 3 little tiny ones -- one for me and one for each of the twins. And a great big giant one to carve. We also found some a great tractor to play on.

Twins room

We are still working hard on getting ready for the twins to join the family. Yesterday Mommy and I worked on making my old bed back into a crib. While I'm now in a big girl bed ... I did enjoy a test ride in the old crib. we still have a lot more to do before giving you a picture of the whole room ... but it will all come together! I'm a big help. I even like finding and playing with all the baby toys and books.

Grandmum's birthday celebration

We had Grandmum come to our house to celebrate her birthday. I made her a special lunch with grilled cheese sandwiches shaped like pumpkins and a special jack-o-lantern cake. I liked singing "Happy Birthday" and helping to blow out the candles. I really love spending time with Grandmum. I'm happy that we live in the same state now!

First Breast Cancer Run

Today I did my first run for Breast Cancer. It was so much fun. I really enjoyed the whole day and was so tired I slept the whole way back home. I got my face painted like a kitty cat and even got a camera I could use all by myself. It was fun to take pictures of all sorts of things.
Here I am fighting breast cancer with the other super hero's!
Checking out all the action before the big race.
Doing my stretches before the start of the race.
I had to raise my hand so they knew I was to race with the 2 and 3 year old kids. I'm ready let's roll.
And we are off on the race!

Finishing the race. I got a medal for finishing as well. I ran as fast as I could. I ended up stumbling about 1/2 way through the race, but I jumped right up and kept on running.
