Too busy to write

Sorry, I'm too busy helping Mommy unpack and organize to write. We've been working a little bit in each room. It's hard work, especially when all my cool things are there. When we aren't organizing things in the "new apartment" we have been going to my tumblers gym. It's cool!

MY TOYS HAVE ARRIVED

OK -- so I managed to spend moving day with Grandmum and baby Josh in P-burg. But when I came back to the "new apartment" all my things were there ... and my bed ... and my baby dolls ... and my dress up clothes ... and my books ... and my scooter ... and my toys ... and my baby dolls ... any my potty ... and my stool ... and my toys ... and my books. (You can see what it took me until 10pm to go to sleep!)

As you can see, I really missed my dress up clothes. I had to put on the whole works right away. See the cool ear rings too! And of course the outfit wouldn't be complete with out Harry Potter glasses.

New Apartment

Our "new apartment" has finally arrived. We have keys and everything, so I thought my bed and toys would be there, but the place is just empty. Hummm, I'm not sure what this all means. I guess it will all work out. Mommies sure are busy though. Here's a few photos from the last few days in the "hotel." This is my first taste of Girl Scout cookies. They didn't have those in Switzerland! Yummy!
Check out this ducky -- it's big enough to ride! Go little ducky go!

Concert

I went to my first concert today. It was Dan Zanes -- you know the guy with the crazy hair that jumps around playing guitar and other musical instruments. Yeah, that Dan Zanes. I really loved it for the first 1/2 hour. Then the other kids and people around me became more interesting than the people on stage. I even got to dance in the isles. My mommies made comments about this being a preview of my teenage years, but I have no idea what that means.

Sad Day

This morning we got a phone call from Grandmum, she told Mommy that Great Grandmother had passed away last night in her sleep. Mommy was very sad which, in turn, made me cry. I tried to tell Mommy to be happy that Great Grandmother can take care of Chance in doggy heaven now. I'm really glad we got to visit with Great Grandmother last week, she was someone extra special.

Snow

OK, so I have seen snow before. I've even played with a snowman before ... but this was so much fun. Not only did Mommy and I go out and walk around in all the snow. We built these snowpeople on our little balcony. The first one looks a bit like Casper the Ghost, or so Mommy says, as I have know idea who Casper is. When we went for our walk around the neighborhood Casper fell over, so we had to rebuild. This time with more features.

So I didn't say that the second snowperson was all that happy about being second fiddle! But at least this one had ears and mittens too! We watched this one slowly melt away after a few days. But it was really cool to be able to look out the sliding door and see this guy.

Still waiting

I'm still waiting for my ship to come in! Literally, we are waiting for our "stuff" to dock in New York and make its way through customs, so we can finally get settled in. Not much else to report. We had planned to spend the week in Phillipsburg babysitting for Josh, but plans changed and our fine services were not needed. So now we are busy trying to find things to do this week. I'm going to check out a couple different gyms this week to see if they live up to the fabulous time I had at Gymboree in Switzerland. We'll see.

Happy President's Day.

Valentine's Day

We took a special Valentine's Day picture with Great Grandmother and Sandy.
Wow, did you know that there is a holiday that's not a birthday and not Christmas and presents show up? I didn't realize this, so it was a nice surprise when I got cards, gifts and even this really, really, really cook kitchen. It was a great surprise when I got home from our car trip back from up north, I found this in our "hotel". Apparently Mama stayed up late the night before putting it together. But it was well worth it; as I played with it non stop the rest of the evening.

Visit with Great Grandmother

While we are up north, we are visiting with Great Grandmother and her great dog, Sandy. We also got to meet and play with lots of other cousins, 4 legged and otherwise. I've had a great time -- we played games, put together puzzles, made a cake, and had a great time playing. My favorite part was playing with Sandy on his bed. He was great letting me play with his bed, I'm thinking that I need a dog bed of my very own!

Here I am at my Great Aunt Marian and Great Uncle Hal's place. They made a yummy lunch to have together. It was nice to see them even if it was a very short visit.
See Sandy and I are sharing his bed. He liked for me to rub his tummy too!
Grandmum helped me make a valentine's cake for everyone to enjoy. It was pretty good if I do say so myself.

Road trip in the newest car

Grandmum, Mommy and I are off today to drive to Massachusetts. It's a long drive, but there are new and interesting things to look at along the way. And of course, Grandmum is there to keep me entertained. Here's a shot of the new car -- I love the color blue!

Bike riding

While we've had some pretty cold days, I've enjoyed getting out and riding my bike. There are great big sidewalks near our hotel and I like going to look for the geese that stalk the neighborhood.

More visits

Today we went to the Miller's house. I had a great time playing with Jacob and Jill and of course taking good care of baby Josh. Then Aunt Sue and Uncle Norman dropped in for a visit. It was a great day and I was so tired, I slept all the way home.

Another new car

We've done it again -- in less than a week, we've bought two new cars. This one is a Ford Escape Hybrid. Mommy is pretty happy with this one and it's blue of course! We go on Saturday to pick up from the dealer. I'm glad to be done with all the car shopping, as it is not very much fun for me.

Aunt Jenny's Birthday party

Today we drove to Grandmum and Gramp's house for a birthday party for Aunt Jenny. Uncle John, Aunt Helene were there. I had a great time playing with Jacob and Jill. Josh wasn't too interested in what we were doing. We even helped A. Jenny open her presents and of course sang the Happy Birthday song. Surprise it was a mickey theme too. Harper and Jacob share a laugh

Hair cut

OK, so I just got my hair cut at the coolest place. There were lots of cool things for me to look while I was sitting still for my hair cut. In the end I even got some pink bows for my hair. Mama took some photos on her cell phone, so we have to contact tech support (Mommy) to get it transfered over to the blog.

I look fabulous now!

Car shopping

OK, so I have to say the car shopping thing is only fun for a very short time. We spent a long time at the dealers making the final sale. While Mama did the negotiating, I spent time checking out all the cars in the show room. It was fun to check out all the buttons and the horn. Again, I had to work really hard to stay out of trouble, but in the end we drove away in a new 2008 VW Jetta. It's got a ton of room and my seat is so comfortable in it. I even have a special drink cup holder. How cool.

I'll try to get a photo of me on my throne in the back seat and post it up soon.
