Baby Day

Ok ... so I know that this is baby day. Mommy and Mama went to the hospital very early this morning ... and then they called around lunch time to tell me I had one baby sister and one baby brother ... but they hadn't decided on names yet. I'm still pushing for Penny and Orange as their names.

Campbell Agnes
Born 26 December 2008
8 lb 7 oz 20 inches
Duncan McLean
Born 26 December 2008
8 lb 6 oz 20 1/2 inches

After my nap I was able to go to the hospital and see Mommy and my baby sister, Campbell. My baby brother, Duncan was in a special room (NICU)getting some extra special care, and I wasn't allowed to go in that room to see him. I was very curious about all the tools the doctors used to get the babies out of Mommy's tummy. But most of all I was happy to be able to see Mommy and Campbell.

Christmas Day

Wow -- what a fun, fun day. I can't believe that Papa Noël fit down our chimney and didn't even get stuck. Here I am making cookies for the jolly ole elf on Christmas eve. They were the yummy chocolate kind too!I was fascinated by the fact that he didn't finish all the yummy cookies that I left for him, but then Mommy explained that it probably wasn't a healthy choice to eat all the cookies that were left for him as he goes to a lot of houses on Christmas eve!I got this warm cozy bathrobe along with other wonderful games, puzzles, toys, and books. I'm not sure I can pick out my favorite thing ... as they are all fun and special in their own way. Here's my new baby doll from Granmum and Gramp. There are cool clothes to put on the babies too ... although mine are usually naked! Grandmum and Gramp came after lunch for a yummy Christmas dinner and to watch me play with all my new things. They then Grandmum will spend the night, because tomorrow morning ... Mommy and Mama are going to the hospital to pick up my new siblings. I'm sure glad Grandmum is going to be here to play with me.

My birthday - for real

I know it seems as if I've been celebrating my birthday for a month. And well, I have. But today I am actually 3 now. It has been great fun to turn three. I can do all kinds of things by my self now!
Here I am with my special tinker bell birthday cake. It was so cool and just the right size. I had the Miller's and Grandmum and Gramp over to help me celebrate my real birthday. And then of course, Josh actually shares my birthday with me ... so this was the first of many family celebrations together. Here the big kids are enjoying a bit of holiday coloring together.
And a cute photo of the big kids all in holiday red. Below is the birthday kids posing together. Josh turned one this year and he had a giraffe cake that Grandmum made for him.

While I really wanted both the babies and Santa Clause to join me for my birthday celebrations - none of them showed up -- I guess there is always next year!

Visit with Papa Noël

Ok, so after many practice attempts, I finally decided it was OK to have a long chat with Papa Noël. He was very nice and we had a long chat about being on his good girl and boy list. I also had a long chat about cookies, milk and some carrots for Rudolph. Did you know that carrots are what make Rudolph's nose so bright? That's what Papa Noël told me ... so it must be so!

We went to visit Papa Noël with my buddy Nicholas, his mommy and little sister. There were lots of cool things for us to play and see in the North Pole area before getting to sit on the big man's knee. I had a great time and can't wait for the magic day when Papa Noël comes down our chimney.

Sibling News

If anyone is checking here to see if I have any insights on when my siblings are going join the family, I'm sorry to say that I have no clue. We are still waiting for them! I talk to them every morning and suggest that this would be a good day to come out and play ... but nothing yet. Stay tuned.

Christmas Tree

Mama and I went out on a hunt for a Christmas Tree. We found a cool place where we could pick our own tree and cut it down. A nice guy named Matt helped us cut down the tree and strap it to the top of the car, where we took it home to Mommy. It was quite fun to look at all the cool ornaments that Mommy, Mama and I have collected in all our travels as we decorated the tree. I enjoyed putting on the lights too.
After we were all done we worked on taking some family photos. Here are our favorite ones.

Oh and the tree smells so nice! I can see the tree from my bed as I'm going to sleep every night, it makes me feel all warm and cozy. I can't wait for Papa Noël to come and fill up my stocking with special things. I've been working really hard to stay on the "goody" list! I hope I can keep up the good work until he comes down the chimney.

Snow Day

All this play before breakfast ... snow is so exciting!

Visit with Santa

Today was a cool party at Mama's work, there was a magician and face painting and balloon art. It was fun to see all the other kids too. We even got a chance to sit with Santa. As you can tell, I'm still not so sure about things and didn't want Mommy to go to far from me, but I did enjoy talking to him a bit.

More Thanksgiving weekend photos

Aunt Helene reading too me! Friday after Thanksgiving we took the leftovers and heading north to Coopersburg to visit Grandmum and Gramp at their house. The Miller clan also came there, so I got plenty of time to play with Jacob and Jill. Here we are eating gingerbread cookies that Grandmum made for us.

Belly comparison!

Thanksgiving weekend - Construction

Yummy Turkey time is here. More importantly Uncle John, Aunt Helene and Ravi came for a visit! While Mommy didn't get any pictures of the Thanksgiving feast, she did manage to take some photos of the work in progress in the back yard. Grandmum and Gramp came for the day too. We watched a bit of the Macy's Day Parade and enjoyed a light lunch before sending Gramp, John, and Mama out to work on the club house. After we made sure they did quite a bit of work, we let them come inside for the yummy Thanksgiving feast. I'm so thankful for all their help.
Saturday of Thanksgiving Mama, Aunt Helene and Uncle John worked on it some more. They did a great job and now there is a cool fort on the top, monkey bars to climb on, a slide, swings, and a glider too! Finally, I get to play on most of it. There is still some finishing touches that are needed, but it's fun to play on for now! If the weather would just cooperate too!

Visitors from Geneva

Today was such an exciting day, we went to the train station to pick up my buddy Devon and his Mommy Ms. Sonia. Ms. Sonia and Mommy were part of the same pre-natal group in Geneva. I was the first born out of the class group and Devon was the last one born. Now look at us all grown up and living on different continents.

We had a grand day together playing in the leaves and with all the toys. Mommy and Ms. Sonia got caught up on all thing things going on in each other's lives. We took a driving tour of the "historical" spots around our home.

Devon loved to be buried in the leaves and then he would jump out and ask to do it all over again. I enjoyed putting the leaves on top of him, but didn't want to get to far into the pile myself.

It was sad when we had to say goodbye, but I was glad to have the opportunity to visit with one of my birthday buddies!

My Birthday Party

OK, OK ... I know you are thinking that my birthday isn't until December 21st and you are correct. But Mommy and Mama came up with this wonderful plan to celebrate early (and I'm hoping often!). My best buddy Nicholas turned three in early Novermber ... so we teamed up to have a joint celebration at Tumbles Gym. This is the coolest place where Nicholas and I go to class once a week.
The birthday party was so much fun. I had a blast! I invited my friends and cousins and Nicholas did the same. We got to do all kinds of cool things like dancing, singing, hula hooping, riding a zip line, playing, and of course eating pizza and cup cakes! Mommy took a lot of video of the whole event ... so I've requested that she figure out how to post some of them to my blog. In the mean time, here are a few photos so you can get the idea. I think a great time was had by all.
Nicholas, my birthday buddy is in the white sweater next to me as we eat our cup cakes! At the very end of the party we sat on the birthday throne and gave our goodie bags to everyone who came to the party.

Various Photos

The people Mama works with had a "baby Shower" for her. I'm not quite sure how come Mama didn't come home all wet from the shower and still not sure where the babies come into the picture. But I got this cool big sister shirt and some fun balloons to play with too.
I'm such a happy girl -- and I love to put my hair in pig tails. It still needs to grow some more, but I'm working on it.

I love my Mommy too.

The Twins' room

We worked to put the finishing touches on the Twins' room. I loved being able to help Mama paint all these cool stars around the room. I also helped Mommy sort through my old clothes, looking for the smallest size possible. We've put them into the drawers and now are just waiting for the Twins arrival.
I'm still not so sure about how this is all going to work and sometimes I get a bit nervous about Mommy's pending trip to the hospital. But my parents assure me that it will all work out just fine.

Halloween - part two

After the big party at Tumbles Gym, Nicholas and I went back to my house to join in the neighborhood parade. What a blast. First we met everyone just down the street a bit and then it was off in the big parade.
Along the parade route there were people giving out candy. Yum, Yum. What fun. After the parade we all enjoyed some pizza and fun together.
Then we did some door to door trick-or-treating in our neighborhood then over to Nicholas neighborhood. It was a wonderful day and I was pretty tired when I got home!

Halloween - part one

Wow -- the actual Halloween day was worth all the hype. I had a blast. First I had to get some errands run in the morning, so I would be ready for the big Halloween party at my gym. Here are lots of pictures from that party.

2nd Pumpkin Carving

We had another fun time carving our second pumpkin. It looks really cool
