Finally Some Teeth

Hello everyone,

I know it has been quite some time since I have graced your email boxes with my tales. I have been so busy exploring my world. This is an amazing place. Do you know that spiders turn into little balls of legs when I try to pick them up? Do you also know that when I jump in a puddle my shoes and legs get all wet like they took a bath? I guess I should share what I have been up to for the last few months.

After spending part of December checking out Holland and part playing with my cousins in Germany … it was back to reality in Switzerland. After the holidays my regular routine started back up again. Mondays and Thursdays are my days to terrorize Chance and help Mommy clean the house. Tuesdays we are continuing with our Mommy and Me French class in the mornings and play group in the afternoons. Wednesday afternoon we go to Gymboree class, where I love to climb on the gym set and pop the bubbles during bubble time. On Fridays I continue to go to music class, we are even leaning new songs for a spring concert the end of this month. So as you can see I have a busy weekly schedule. Somewhere in between all that I have to help with the laundry and grocery shopping. It’s a never-ending cycle I tell you.

I have my first real family chore too – it is my job to make sure Chance gets dog food in his bowl. First I have to let one of my mommies know that his bowl is empty, then I have to carry the bowl to where his dog food is kept. Next I have to show mommies where the food is – why don’t they just remember from the last time? Then I hold the bowl while they put two scoops (just like raisin bran) into his bowl. The final step is the hardest as I have to carry the full bowl back and put it on the floor. Sometimes I tip it and all the food falls out. Mommy says that it is OK, that accidents happen, but then we have to pick all the pieces up and put them back in the bowl.

I also really like to help in the kitchen from doing dishes to helping to cook. I’m really good at cleaning the beaters and the bowls after making cookies and cakes. It is a tough job, but someone has to do it!

Our ground floor apt (we moved into in January) is wonderful. We go outside once or twice a day. It is so much fun to run around in the grass and to play ball or Frisbee with Chance.

Oh yeah – I finally got my first tooth on Feb. 11th. It hurt a little bit, but now I can finally use my tooth brush! Yeah!
