Grandmum & Gramps new house

Today we finally got to go see Grandmum and Gramp's new house. Once they get a bit more settled in it will be really fun to play and explore in their cool house. In the mean time I played with a bunch of boxes and a few toys we could find.

We brought lunch over to their house while they sorted through a few installation issues and waited for the delivery of a new fridge and washer and dryer. It was a rainy day so we didn't any pictures, we'll save those for next time.

Reading the Sunday Paper

I love the weekends, when Mama is home to play with me. I even enjoy helping her read the Sunday paper.

Mama's company picnic

Wow -- this picnic thing was a lot of fun. Not for all the great food -- OK, the ice cream was pretty yummy -- but for all the fun things I was able to do. Mommy brought the camera with her, but was so busy keeping up with me, she never got time to snap any photos.
So I'll just tell you about all the cool things I got to do. We rode a paddle boat, where I had to wear this orange vest thing -- I couldn't reach the pedals, so I was doing all the navigating instead. One of my favorite things was this really cool bungee trampoline. It was so much fun! I got to wear a helmet and jump up really high. There was a pony ride and some cool crafts to do too. I even went swimming in the heated pool and went down the water slide. It was loads of fun.
Along the way I got to meet up with many of Mama's co-workers. It took me a short while to come out of my shell, but then I loved every minute of it.

Dress up day

I love playing dress up ... this was one cool outfit -- don't you think?

I'm still here

To my fan club,

I'm sorry to have taken so long to update my blog. As you'll see if you read back to some of the posts, I've been pretty busy over the last month or so. I'm looking forward to all the adventures that the fall will hold. I've been seeing and hearing all about this holiday they have in the United States called Halloween. We did a few things last year in Switzerland ... but nothing like it's shaping up to be in the US.

New Bay Window

Here's a photo of the new window. It looks so good and is a great place to watch all the things going on outside.

Home improvements

I let you know earlier that some of the home projects were still in the works -- one was a new bay window for the living room. Mommy remembered to snap a few pictures during the process ... but has yet to snap an end result. Here is the old window.
Big hole in the front of the house. It was really neat to watch the construction project unfold.

MA cousins

We drove to Massachusetts to pick up Sandy. Great Grandmother traded with us. We are going to take care of her dog, Sandy, while she is taking care of Chance for us in heaven.

Tree climbing with my MA cousins, Jack (high up) and Owen on the ground. One of my cousins, Chauncey is a real firefighter. We got to take a tour of the firehouse where he works. Here Owen and I even got to ride around in the big fire truck. It was lots of fun and I thought that was the best part of the tour. I had no interest in trying on the fire hats or boots.
I wasn't so sure about sitting in the driver's seat either. This is a big, big truck!
