First day of the Pool
So there are some advantages of living in an apartment, one being a community pool. So even though the pool was quite cold, the outside temperature was hot, so we spent an hour playing on the steps of the pool. It was loads of fun and I can't wait to go back.

New Hope
Still a bit tired from our big day in the big city, we decided to go to New Hope, just up the Delaware river from where we live. We ate lunch at a nice restaurant called the Havana. Then we walked around to many of the shops and even took a stroll along the canal. It was another beautiful day.
After New Hope got to crowded for us, we drove over to Peddlers Village to find this cool round-n-round. It was fun and I felt like a princess on this beautiful horse. We were in need of some yummy ice cream to end the day. Yummy.

New York City
Today we went into the big, big city. Wow there was so much to see and do! We rode a double decker bus around the city to see many of the sights. The weather was perfect. I enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the big city. I enjoyed watching all the people too. Here is Mama, Aunt Keebo and I enjoying the sunshine from the top of the bus in Times Square.
We waited in a long line to get to the top of the Empire State building. Along the way we ran into this little fellow. He was very nice for a little bit and stood still for the photo. But then he started moving around and I got startled. Mommy explained that there was a man named Bob inside the gorilla suit and he had to go get some more yellow bananas. It all made sense to me at the time.
Mama and I check out the view from the 86th floor of the Empire State building.
Leslie and I take a break and play in central park. It was so much fun.
Here we are back in Times Square checking out all the cool signs and people. It was the end of a long day and I was told I was very, very good in the big, big city.

Longwood Gardens
Today we went to Longwood Gardens to see all the beautiful flowers. I had a great time. There were lots of things for me to touch and play with. Of course there were beautiful things to look at too. They even built some cool new tree houses that were fun to play in too. I think Aunt Keebo and Leslie had a great time too.

Philly
Aunt Keebo and cousin Leslie came for a visit all the way from Florida. They were so much fun! We had tons of things to show them while they were here. We went into Philly for an afternoon. It was a bit chilly, but we managed to see a few things anyway.
Here I am checking out this big bell that is broken. I don't understand why they don't just throw it away since it has the big crack in it? I looked anyway.
This is Aunt Keebo and Leslie holding me in front of Independence Hall. This is were some important papers were signed by a bunch of men.

The highlight of the afternoon was a horse and carriage ride through the city. The horses name was Mickey. He was really nice and even let me pet his ear, it was really soft too.

First PRIDE Weekend
This weekend was my first PRIDE weekend. There were really cool things to -- it started with a parade in New Hope. I got some beads and candy and stickers from the different floats. I saw the governor of PA, Mama said it was a big deal, but he was just a guy in a suit to me! I wasn't so sure at the motorcycle group -- they were very loud. At the end of the parade we had a nice meal and then went to find the other families with children my age. Of course they were all hanging out at the play ground! We made some kites to fly and even did an interview for a video. I met some really nice friends and so did my Mommies.
Sunday we went to a family disco dance too. In the beginning I wasn't so sure of things like the chicken dance and the Hokie Pokie ... but after a while I got into it! I had so much fun. We played games with hula hoops and balloons, and blowup musical instruments and such. We played musical chairs and a freeze dance. My favorite part was playing Duck, Duck, Goose. I still don't quite understand the rules, but I had a blast playing with my new friends. I also won the coolest prize a new pair of dress up shoes with Snow White on them. I wore them the whole time!
Even though my mommies forgot to bring the camera all weekend -- I had a great time and really enjoyed being surrounded by rainbow colors and the festivities of PRIDE. I'm so lucky to have two Mommies who love me very much! And I can't wait to catch up with my new friends again soon.

Misc. pictures
I've made references to these things in prior posts, I just got Mama to download the photos from her camera. So here as some "old" photos of things you've heard me blog about.
Getting my first haircut at a cool kids salon called Snip-its.
The finished product complete with bows.
Mama and I at the zoo in Washington DC for Easter weekend. I can't tell what animal we were looking at, there were so many interesting ones.
Uncle John, Me and Mommy pose for a zoo shoot!
I met Dora the Explorer at the grand opening of my new gym. She was really fun and liked to dance and clap with me.

Happy Mother's Day
I'm a lucky girl -- there is one special day to celebrate my two mommies. I have one Mama and one Mommy, I'm pretty lucky.
I gave Mama a new camcorder so she can record all the cute things I do. Now to get her to up load it to the computer. I gave Mommy a new kitchen aid mixer. We've already made yummy cookies together with it. Mama also helped me make a special frame with my hand print in it for a surprise for Mommy.
Today Mama and Uncle John headed into NYC to see a Met's baseball game. I was a bit sad about not being able to go, but then Mommy and I spent most of the day at Sesame Place, so it was all good! It was too cold to swim, although I tried to dip my toes into a wading pool. I went on lots of rides and even saw two cool shows. We had a great time and I came home exhausted and ready for a big long nap.
Hope everyone else is having a wonderful Mother's day too.

Fabulous Day
This was my first trip to Sesame Place! We met my friend Alex and his Mommy and Daddy at the park. It was the best day! We rode on some of the rides, climbed on a ton of things and played in a variety of wading pools. I was a good listener, so I even got to stay and see the parade at the end of the day. It was awesome! Check out all the cool pictures. Mommy and Mama got us special tickets so we can go back often, but they say they won't bring the camera cause it's too hard to keep it dry!

My week
I've had a great week, although Mommy didn't take many pictures. We did have a lot of fun. We went puddle stomping in the rain one day. We met a new friend, Sara and her Mommy at the playground. Sara is almost 3 and was born in France. We are planning a play date to practice my French again. I had a fantastic day at my gym on Thursday too. Mommy said I was so good. I just had so much fun waiting my turn for things and really listening to the instructors. I can't wait to go again next week!
