Papa Noël's Grotto

Today we drove from Lucerne to Montreux. We met up with my friend Mia and her two Mommies, Julia and Ruth. We all took a train ride up the mountain to see Papa Noël. Once we got up to the top it was cold with lots of snow. We went and played in the snow to get our second wind! It was so cool! I liked doing a bit of sliding on my snow suit. It was fun to see all the other kids and the sun was out too!
When we were all done we started the walk through to see Papa Noël. I was so excited, we were all singing songs and laughing. I couldn't wait to talk to the big man himself. Once we actually saw him, I wasn't so sure about sitting on his lap. As long as Mommy was with me, I enjoyed talking with him. He asked my name and if I had been really good this year. Then he gave me a special piece of paper to remember my visit with him and a little gift. Mia was much braver than I was, she actually sat on his lap. Maybe next year I'll do the same.
We had so much fun with our friends, afterwards we took a walk around another big Christmas market of course the highlight was the hot wine and the round-n-rounds. (I think some other people might call round-n-rounds, merry-go-rounds.)
